Bertrand "BERTY" McKinney
Bertrand "BERTY" McKinney is a Gospel Hip Hop artist, writer, producer and President for the We All 1 Records label as well as 1 of the hosts of Let's Talk Gospel. BERTY, which stands for Baptized Enlightened Redeemed Trusting Yahweh, was born in New Orleans, La and raised in Tylertown, Ms by his father and mother. Growing up, God was always a part of his life, and church was a common thing in their household. The village that raised BERTY helped him to learn of God, but he realized that he didn’t really know God until he progressed further into adulthood.
During this journey, BERTY started to date and fall in love hard with almost every relationship he had. After one bad break up, BERTY contemplated committing suicide until his aunt, who he hadn’t spoken to in months, called him and said, “God told me to tell you that he loves you and don’t do it”. At that moment, BERTY knew that God had never left him and that he had allowed the world to sidetrack him. He decided to move forward by letting the world go and recommitting his life back to God through his music.
BERTY has been rapping for over 20 years now and has appeared on Dr. Bobby Jones presents, The Impact Network, and The SOAR Awards, to name a few. His music can be perceived as inspiring testimony with songs that highlight his growing relationship with God, life lessons and motivation to keep going. BERTY has shared the stage with some of Gospels biggest talents. His debut single titled “Miracle” featured Wess Morgan, and his studio album Altar Ego is available on all streaming platforms. His current single Bounce is being played all around the globe
Kris and Orionna Coleman
Kris and Orionna Coleman are rising media moguls. Since 2017, they have been creating content, starting on social media, that have influenced their audience in very positive ways all while working with many companies to build their resume. Throughout this journey, they turned their passions into profit by creating businesses that serve the needs of the community.
WeAll1 Records, founded by Kris Coleman is a Christian recording label and studio created to help artists live out their musical dreams by giving them more exposure, artist branding and a studio space to create great music while glorifying God. Some of their artists, BERTY and Mookie-Unik are both making their name in the christian hip hop industry starting in their home state of Mississippi. Kris Coleman is also an artist himself who now goes by the name KOMPLETE. Early in January 2024, Coleman decided to use this name to reflect his journey to now being a Christian Hip Hop Artist. He has released his first song, “UnWorthy” featuring his wife who wrote an affirmational song and praise danced in the music video.
StORI Studios, founded by Orionna Coleman, is a media, marketing and production studio formed to create and give people the chance to tell their story their way. The motto, “Your Story Matters”, speaks for any and every one who has positive stories to share in whatever format they want to share it. Stori Studios currently shares stories in the media, photography, social media marketing, commercials, film, graphic design, podcast, documentary, online content creation and public relations formats.
The Colemans’ also created a brand entitled “Making Mississippi”. As Mississippi residents, they noticed that a space is needed for like minded people (business owners, entrepreneurs, entertainers and all visionaries) to come together to network, collaborate and most importantly celebrate the good things everyone’s doing in the state of Mississippi. This birthed their brand, “Making Mississippi”
